Abstract


In the urban landscape , native plants due to the variety and good adaptability to the local environment , in the urban landscape has been widely used . However, in recent years, some domestic garden blind pursuit of exotic plants , ignoring the development and utilization of native plants , it is destroying the diversity of plants and urban ecosystem stability , also increased the urban landscape conservation costs. These issues in our garden construction , native plants in the garden construction has been a growing concern . Native plants as an important part of the garden plants , a large number of applications can highlight the local characteristics , to form a unique landscape can reduce costs , reduce conservation , enhanced stress resistance and urban ecosystem stability , will not cause the invasion of alien species . Not pay enough attention to the status of native plants in landscaping construction paper through the literature and combined with field investigation , describes the overview of the development of native plants at home and abroad applied research , to investigate the presence of native plants in the application status of Yiyang City and problems, analyze the characteristics of the application and the important role of native plants in the landscape . In-depth study of the characteristics of native plants in Yiyang City , the concept of native plants , affecting the scope of application of native plants , distribution and growth factors , native plants and landscape value are discussed . Finally arrive at the following conclusions: Yiyang , Yiyang City native plants rich in resources , a total of 225 species , but is seldom used in landscaping , only Yiyang ratio is 17% of the native plants ; application of bamboo and other characteristics of native plants are not systematic ; the City should increase the intensity of development and utilization of native plants .
