Abstract

For identification and comparative productivity of sweet potato germplasm resources and major economic traits in field trials, laboratory tests, quality analysis, the flowering habit surveys trial were 34 sweet potato germplasm resources, 13 were foreign purple sweet potato variety of resources, 11 were domestic purple-fleshed sweet potato varieties resources, 2 parts sweet potato wild relatives varieties, protoplast fusion intermediate materials (referred to as \longest vine length, the base of the branch number, stem diameter, flowering, hair radicular identification and comparison, and test data processing biometric method, to obtain the following results: 1, purple sweet potato germplasm and ordinary identification and comparison of the major traits of sweet potato germplasm resources: groups of purple sweet potato vine leaf yield, number of branches per plant, tuber number per plant, dry matter content, starch content and not ordinary sweet potato difference, but fresh potato particularly low yield, on Potato low, the poor quality of cooked food, significantly longer vine tuber pigment content. 2 the the sweet potatoes the Wild Relatives I.trifida and I.littoralis average vine leaves per plant 200.0g to 330.0g 12.1g to 23.6 g weight of tubers per plant significantly sweet potato varieties (lines) than for the test species low-quality resources, but compared with synthetic hybrids between the difference was not significant; tuber drying rate of 30.04% and 36.90%, were generally more sweet potato varieties (lines) germplasm resources; tuber β-carotene content of 0.0818mg/100g fresh weight and 0.3457mg/100g, fresh weight; vines smaller long stem diameter of 2.60mm and 2.41mm, the average longest vine length 252.8cm and 428.0mm, number of branches per plant, 10.3 and 5.5; cutting seedlings hair root than ordinary sweet potato varieties (lines) germplasm resources. 3, the synthetic hybrid North the agricultural 5501 and Beinong 5521 average per plant vines weighs 280.0g and 360.8g 29.1g and 42.1 g of average tuber weight per plant, significant than for the test sweet potato varieties (lines) germplasm resources , but with two sweet potato Wild Relatives difference is not obvious; tuber drying rate of 30.06% and 31.14%, tuber β-carotene content of 0.2725mg/100g fresh weight and 0.1295mg/100 of fresh weight, the majority of the tested sweet potato varieties (lines), but significantly lower than I.littoralis; smaller vines short stem diameter of 2.71mm and 2.62mm; cutting seedling root number average less than sweet potato varieties (lines), hair root length Beinong the 5501 shorter Beinong 5521 longer; longest vine length 172.3cm and 126.3cm; more base branching number per plant, 9.7 and 8.5. Sweet potatoes Wild Relatives and synthetic hybrids in the natural ecological environment of Chongqing flowering habit: Synthetic hybrid and hexaploid Wild Relatives I.trifida, easy natural flowering day per plant flowering 10.7 9.1, 7.0 and 5.4, the flowering period is from mid-August to late September, and tetraploid relatives the wild species I.littoralis not easy natural flowering, average daily flower number was only 1.4, flowering The best period is from late September to early October. Studies show that the the 4 artificial synthetic hybrids and hexaploid Wild Relatives I.trifida flowering characteristics closer cultivated sweet potato varieties.
