Abstract

Carbon nanotubes (CNTs), since found to become a the fullerene research focus. In this paper, the application of carbon nanotubes made a brief introduction, and focusing on the pore structure of carbon nanotubes and gas adsorption, liquid infiltration, filling the role of catalyst support applied research reports. This paper studies the adsorption properties of Carbon Nanotubes: adsorption material, adsorption of harmful components of cigarette smoke; for TiO 2 optical catalyst carrier, made of composite photocatalyst CNTs-TiO 2 Improved the TiO 2 photocatalytic performance. Carbon Nanotubes reduce cigarette toxicity, carbon nanotubes are added, activated carbon in the filter tip, inorganic salts, to improve the the canisters capability of the filter tip. Use added by the weighing method the reagent adsorption amount of total particulate matter, wherein CNTs removal is the best, and shallow processing CNTs adsorption better than deep processing of CNTs, the removal efficiency of the different added to the amount of CNTs made , two factors, both to remove the harmful components of the flue gas, while saving costs, add 30mg per cigarette deep processing of CNTs more appropriate. The TiO 2 photocatalyst Modification of activated carbon and CNTs material as a catalyst carrier, the composite catalyst was prepared TiO 2 / AC and CNTs-of TiO 2 , and the use of methamidophos pesticide photodegradation its photocatalytic performance evaluation. By sol - gel process in composite photocatalyst TiO 2 / AC and CNTs TiO ,, 2 . Was added in the sol prior to formation of the activated carbon and CNTs, after ultrasonic dispersion in a magnetically stirred, under mechanical stirring to form a mixed sol, Chen into the gel, washed with water, dried, activating treatment system Sunbeam catalyst. TEM spectra show that the obtained composite photocatalyst nano TiO , 2 particles attached to the surface of the activated carbon and CNTs wall. Research the the composite photocatalyst photocatalytic activity, 40.71mg / L methamidophos photocatalytic degradation data show that, the 350 ℃ activation treatment of TiO 2/AC CNTs-TiO -2 photocatalytic effect is higher than under the same conditions of mechanical mixing TiO 2 and the AC TiO 2 and CNTs, the apparent rate constant of the former is the latter 2.78 and 5.73 times. For TiO 2 / AC, activated carbon 30% by weight, preferably light photocatalytic effect of the processing temperature at 500 ° C activation. CNTs-TiO 2 composite photocatalyst CNTs weight content of 0% to 1% of the photocatalytic activity increased 450 ° C for a suitable activation temperature.
