Proteome Analysis of Differentially Displayed Proteins in Rice Young Shoots under Iron-deficiency Stress

Iron deficiency is a common one of the problems of plant nutrition in calcareous soils. Crops often from the soil can not absorb sufficient iron nutrition for normal growth and demand, causing chlorosis disease, lower production and lower nutritional quality. Plant evolution two different iron absorption mechanisms - Mechanism I and Mechanism III. Experiment mechanism Ⅱ plant rice materials, made an attempt to study its response to iron deficient stress mechanism. First of all, the iron deficiency caused rice physiology, morphology and cell ultrastructural changes were observed and found that iron deficiency 14 days chloroplast and root mitochondria causing serious damage to the structure and composition of. To further investigate the iron deficiency response mechanisms of abiotic stresses early rice cultivation in the rice leaf soluble protein normal for iron and iron deficiency 1,3,5 days two-dimensional polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis analysis. The sequence and function information of these proteins is still further identification. In addition, we handle six days under the conditions of rice root response Iron Deficiency 11 protein specifically expressed are obtained each peptide mass fingerprinting matrix-assisted laser desorption ionization time-of-flight mass spectrometry. These proteins have been combined with a database search, accurate and unique identification. Our work shows that two-dimensional gel electrophoresis and mass spectrometry identification can achieve a good separation of a protein group and its composition. Plant iron deficiency adversity to Stress Molecular Physiology, which is a very effective strategy.
