The Clinical Research of Treating Lumbar Disc Herniation by Bloodletting and Acupuncture

Abstract


Objective: To observe Bloodletting with the efficacy of acupuncture treatment of lumbar disc herniation , and explore the mechanism of pricking blood therapy to treat the disease , provide a new idea for the clinical treatment of lumbar disc herniation . Methods : 60 cases of patients with lumbar disc herniation were randomly divided into of pricking blood group and acupuncture group . The Bloodletting group pricking blood therapy combined with acupuncture acupuncture group were treated with acupuncture treatment . Bloodletting acupuncture points selected Weizhong or near stasis collaterals, once every other day Bloodletting acupuncture groups select the same points , day treatment times , 6 times as a course of treatment , patients in both groups before treatment and overall Evaluation after one , two courses of treatment , the visual analog scale and the signs and symptoms scores were statistical effect . Results: 1. Overall efficacy , Bloodletting and acupuncture group showed no significant ( P gt ; 0.05 ) , consistent with the overall effect of pricking blood group and acupuncture group , but Bloodletting group after the first course of treatment cure rate and total effective rates were 33.3% and 70% , respectively , after the second course of treatment cure rate and total effective rates were 56.7 % and 90 %, higher than the acupuncture group . 2.VAS pain intensity difference compared two groups of patients before and after treatment difference was significant difference ( P lt ; 0.05 ) . Signs and symptoms score difference compared two groups of patients before treatment and after treatment the first course , second course was a significant difference ( P lt ; 0.05 ) , and there are significant differences compared before and after treatment difference ( P LT ; 0.05). Conclusion: 1. Bloodletting with acupuncture and acupuncture have improved the overall efficacy of lumbar disc herniation , but the the Bloodletting group cure rate and total efficiency is higher than the acupuncture group . 2 . Bloodletting group and acupuncture group of patients with lumbar disc herniation pain and symptoms signs were improved, but the the Bloodletting group than the acupuncture group and also reduce the patient's pain, to better improve the patient's clinical symptoms and signs .
