Abstract


Along with the establishment of China-ASEAN Free Trade Area and the practice of Service Trade Agreement, the service trade market of both sides have opened continuingly and regularly. Under the framework of the Free Trade Area which has the largest population, the Service Trade Agreement,signed by China and ASEAN will bring the opportunities to the development of service trade in the region, as well as the challenges. Therefore, strategies and measures for the research of promoting the China-ASEAN service trade liberalization process have the practical significance. It will not only guide the service trade but also inspire and enlighten other regional economic organizations apart from China. This article analyze the trade in service among China and ASEAN countries form the trade development, industrial foundation, trade structure and competitiveness based on considerable related theories and research results. Combined with the Service Trade Agreement”and detailed schedule of specific decrease commitments, his article summarize the strategy of strengthen China-ASEAN service trade liberalization, on the basis of liberalized level measure. Finally it brings up corresponding solutions aiming at the problems in the procedure of liberalization.
