Abstract


This paper studies the technology to extract fracture information from seismic data. Cracks in low permeability oil and gas reservoirs important reservoir space migration pathways. The crack identification forecast is one of the key research areas of the oil and gas geophysical exploration. The seismic method is currently the most effective means of one study underground crevices. There are several ways to extract underground rock fracture information from seismic reflection records. Based on seismic data can be converted into a digital image of the fact, the application of digital image edge detection method to predict earthquake cracks; based rock fracture system has fractal characteristics the fact that fractal theory method to predict earthquakes cracks ; based on the seismic data is a discrete digital signal recording the fact that the application of wavelet multi-resolution analysis method to predict earthquakes cracks. Through theoretical analysis and numerical experiments and practical application experiments, to obtain the following results and understanding of: (1) edge detection algorithm is the most prominent role is to detect the different regions of the transition zone, which is the edge. Pursuant to edge detection method can identify the area of ??fracture development and non-development area. (2) multi-scale fractal parameters by strike the fractal dimension of the amplitude data at different scales to detect cracks, and to avoid the difficulties from a single scale fractal dimension. Better identify the effect of this method of fracture development, but to get to the level of the fracture development requires a combination of drilling, logging and other selected threshold. (3) based on iterated function systems of fractal compression method, is a self-affine fractal methods, affine transformation of the main application, this method toward more accurate prediction of the crack. (4) depends on the choice of the wavelet basis wavelet multiresolution analysis method application. Good recognition based on the db3 wavelet multi-resolution analysis methods, the degree of development of cracks and faults. (5) In a more systematic study of various crack detection method, that the complexity of the condition, density and other factors due to the crack size, distribution, under normal circumstances, Fractal and Wavelet combining their detection can be Get more objective and accurate understanding. (6) Fractal Wavelet between intrinsically linked, such as can a combination of the two for the seismic fracture detection, it is possible to obtain better results. Than multi-resolution wavelet packet analysis more suitable for the analysis of the signal changes, able wavelet packet analysis method applied to seismic fracture detection is also possible to obtain better results.
