Abstract

Motives Many researchers believe that one of the main determinants of success of learning a second language or foreign language. Gardner and Lambert's the classic motivation research mode based on the domestic and foreign scholars to be expanded, and more research on students' foreign language / second language learning motivation and its various dimensions (factors). Of many foreign language learning motivation for all kinds of Chinese English learners or second language motivation for the entire foreign students groups, the specific professional foreign students' learning motivation research in China is not much. Based on this, considering the close ties with the study of the clinical professional training and international students Chinese teaching to China to the status quo of the medical students learning Chinese taught entirely in English mode of investigation and analysis, to explore to China Medical foreign students' learning motivation types motivational intensity, and its motives in the context of different individuals differences where Chinese is taught entirely in English mode of teaching countermeasures reference suggestions. In this study, the main reference a rainbow \Chinese motivation to China Medical Students survey and Applied Social Sciences statistical software SPSS13.0 be statistical analysis; summarizing the status of medical students learning Chinese motives, analysis of the type of motivation and its intensity changes. The results showed that: the motivation of medical students to China under the mode of teaching in English following five main types: 1) communication media motivation, 2) to academic motivation, 3) cultural interest motivation, 4) learning situation motivated, 5) language interest motivation. Communicative medium motivation, and academic motivation to achieve the purpose of, but have the characteristics of instrumental motivation, international medical students in China's main motive type; Chinese learning students being investigated by the professional taught entirely in English, the integrative motivation in language less interested motives. At the same time, the study also found that trainee experience for medical students, grade level has a certain impact on the type of Chinese motives and motivation strength. Trainee experience inspired medical students academically motivation, cultural interest in motivation, learning motive and language interest motives, the communication media motivation in a Dizou trends; trainee experience while enhancing the Chinese motivation strength of the medical students. As the grade increased, the exchange of media and academic achievement motivation both instrumental motivation gradually reduced, and cultural interest and language interest motivation the two converged motivation basic upward trend; motivation strength of the overall trend is increasing year by year, but in the learning late decreased. The study also found that the intensity related to the type of five Chinese learning and motivation strength, the strength of all kinds of motives high level of motivation of medical students motivation high strength, low group in academic motivation, cultural interest motivation, learning contexts motivation, language interest motivation on group significant difference. Chinese language teaching for medical students in the English teaching mode, teaching goals, curriculum, teaching materials and construction, and testing standards were proposed corresponding methods and effective measures to stimulate students' Chinese learning, I hope to improve the quality of Chinese teaching some reference value.
