Abstract


Calamitous accidents, by its paroxysm and cruelty, always are the focus that the society pays close attention to for its enormous shock strength and influence. Neither countries nor kinds of social systems can avoid calamitous incident completely. Then that how to report the incident fast and accurate is one of the basic signs of competitiveness, and it is the important respect of improving the major media’s influence power too. With the reform and opening-up, our country has already obtained the obvious, breakthrough progress about the report of the accident, especially in recent years changing from the total control in the past to the loose way step by step. However, we should improve our reports further because the reports still can’t satisfy the people’s demand.In the face of the calamitous incident, the news media must adhere to the prompt, accurate, objective news report principle and guide public opinion correctly. And the reporters must know the unnecessary avoidance is harmful. If the heavy accident is not offered in time or proper, it will make us in the passive position in the world opinion fight, and influence the prestige of the news media of our country. The questions about the accident report lie mainly in that the thought and knowledge of the reporters who didn’t establish thought route for seeking truth, and didn’t fully realize the important meaning of the accident report for our country. So, studying the law of the calamitous accident report of our country and probing into reporting the principle and reporting the method of the accident, both to media and reporter, it is a very important subject. This thesis is proposed to probe into the actuality and development of the news about disasters from the perceive, reporting, writing and so on. It also scans and thinks about the value of the news about disaster, the quality of the reporters, the importance of the interviewing condition and the style of the writing. At the same time, it specially talks about and emphasize the view that pay attention to the mental of the victims and the system of the preparation reporting disasters as well as the regularity, rules and method of the news of disasters so as to persist in the ideal of news and emphasize the importance of the disasters themselves.
