The rock bolt crane girder is a new structure model. By comparison with the common crane girder, the rock bolt crane girder has more advantages. For example, it can deduce width of a plant, reduce expenses, contribute to fix the crane in advance giving facilities for final construction, etc. For these reasons, the rocket bolt crane has wide applications in the underground power plant, and will continuously play an important role in the future. The working performance and stability of the rock bolt crane girder has always being an important problem in project design and construction.Combining with the project practice of Baishan pumped storage power house, the articale treats the rock bolt crane girder as the objection of research and gets the concrete and rock mass modeled by the Drucker-Prager elastic-perfectly plastic constitutive relation. It takes full consideration of the effect caused by deformation of concrete, rock mass and anchor rod on rock bolt crane girder, and applies three-dimensional non-linear finite element method to simulate and analyze the effect caused by the stage excavation of Baishan pumped storage power unergrond house’s mid-bottom part and wheel loading on deformation, stress and stability of the rocket bolt crane girde and its nearby surrounding rock mass. Compared with the in-situ results, computing results are proved to be almost consistent with the test in-situ not only in data but in the law of location and the trend of change. By analyzing main structure parameters of rock bolt crane girder, the article indicates main problems and key points in design and construction of rock bolt girder. So it has some implication in reference and guidingin practice, and provides the basis of theory for the development of design theory and construction ways of rock bolt crane girder.
