The subject lumbar disc herniation were divided into the EA group needle treatment group , a course of treatment (10 ) , to the degree of pain points ( VAS ) , and waist and legs function , ADL integral OUTCOME MEASURES , respectively, in the treatment of score before treatment and treatment . The purpose is to observe the different acupuncture treatment of lumbar disc herniation clinical efficacy, to select the best treatment and improve efficacy . The clinical results showed that: the EA group and needles group after treatment, self-controlled , the degree of pain and lumbar and leg function , ADL scores were significantly improved , statistically significant difference , but no statistically significant difference between the two groups . Treatment , the EA group was significantly better than the improvement of the degree of pain needle group , a significant difference . The results of this research show that the electro-acupuncture with needles certainly the clinical efficacy of the treatment of lumbar disc herniation , can be used as a conservative treatment for lumbar disc herniation . Acupuncture analgesia , electro-acupuncture group has a quick, strong analgesic effect , electro-acupuncture treatment to ease the pain of lumbar disc herniation , the best choice .
