Abstract


Six different magnesium content of Al-Mg-Mn and Al-Mg-Mn-Sc-Zr alloy ingot metallurgy prepared by the room temperature tensile , hardness testing , conductivity measurement , metallographic analysis , TEM methods such studies trace scandium and zirconium to the alloy mechanical properties , electrical properties , and its organizational structure and changes in the law , and the analysis and interpretation of the theory . The results show that : 1 . Al-6Mg-Mn-Sc-Zr cast alloy at homogenizing annealing hardening phenomenon, the change in hardness because the solidification process of the formation of a supersaturated solid solution containing scandium zirconium decompose the precipitated Al 3 (Sc, Zr) particles leads to an increase in hardness of the alloy . The conductivity increases with increasing annealing temperature , extend the time for insulation . The increase in the conductivity of the scandium-containing zirconium decomposition of the supersaturated solid solution to form a dispersion-type complex phase structure . Al-6Mg-Mn-Sc-Zr alloy ingot homogenizing annealing temperature of 300 to 350 ° C , the annealing time of 6 to 8 hours . 2. Trace Sc and Zr added to the Al-Mg-Mn alloy the primary alloy precipitated during solidification Al 3 ( Sc, Zr ) particle become effective heterogeneous nuclei greatly refine the grains of the alloy . Al-6Mg-Mn-Sc-Zr alloys homogenizing annealing process precipitation the secondary Al 3 < / sub > (Sc, Zr ) particle , strong pinning of dislocations and subgrain boundaries inhibit alloy hot-rolled the process of dynamic recrystallization . 3. Strengthening of Al-Mg-Mn-Sc-Zr alloys , including Mg solid solution strengthening , adding of trace scandium and zirconium alloy ingots fine grain strengthening and secondary Al 3 ( Sc, Zr) the dispersion caused by the particles in the alloy is precipitation hardening, and produced during the processing of the subgrain structure . 4. Add trace Sc and Zr can significantly improve the recrystallization temperature in the Al-Mg-Mn alloy after cold rolling , recrystallization onset temperature increased by about 120 ℃ . Sc, Zr joint added the formation of secondary aluminum compound Al 3 ( Sc, Zr ) having a strong pinning effect on dislocation and subgrain boundaries , then impede the crystallization nucleation , thereby effectively suppressing recrystallization.
