Abstract


The pH of the surface of ordinary latex gloves weakly alkaline, long-term wear such gloves will destroy the acidic environment of the skin of the hand, the microbial easy skin penetration. As the application of new technologies in the latex glove industry, there has been a low-protein gloves, sterilizing gloves and powder-free gloves and other new products, but these products are still only plays the role of isolated hand contact with the outside world, and the maintenance of the skin of the hand was not heeded . Latex gloves hot trend in the development of functional direction, the papers, on the surface of latex gloves to keep the weak acid, prepared by weak acid coating of latex examination gloves, based on the performance of the weak acid coating as well as coating explore gloves matrix bonding mechanism. Experiments using buffer theoretical basis, to explore and the preparation of a variety of weak acid coating solution were compared with each other and the choice of the best ratio. Study of the bonding mechanism, scanning electron microscopy, nuclear magnetic resonance and infrared spectroscopy combined coating applied to the weak acid gloves. In the study of the weakly acidic coating layer, combined with the effectiveness of aloe vera in the skin care and draw the weakly acidic substances in the cosmetic field, the selection represented by citric acid in the fruit acids, lactic acid and tartaric acid, and their respective acid salts and aloe liquid complexes , combined with the aid of carboxymethyl cellulose, OP emulsifiers formulated weak acid coating of latex gloves. Developed in fruit acid and aloe vera as a weak acid of nutrients, the carboxymethyl cellulose as a thickener, and the OP emulsifier as a surface wetting agent. Experiments on three types of weak acid buffer solution of alkali resistance have been investigated to determine the ratio of the solution in line with production, discuss the the glove surface apparent quality and the effect of pH factors, carboxymethyl cellulose, OP emulsifier as well as the dip coating process for coating performance. After a number of experiments, weak acid coating formulations. The results showed that: when the percentage of the quality of the weak acid buffer solution of a weak acid and its acid salts are both 0.5%, and the solution to meet production requirements; carboxymethylcellulose and OP emulsifier added can improve the apparent mass of the glove surface, the control surface pH; as the substrate when the coating liquid to the aloe vera liquid, the quality of the weak acid and its acid salts percentages are 0.5%, adding to the mass percentage of 0.05% carboxymethyl cellulose, the mass percentage of 0.3% of the OP emulsifier , the surface quality of the weak acid aloe latex gloves, and has a suitable pH value is about 4.8. Study the weak acid coating applied onto the surface of latex gloves, and no change in the production process of traditional latex gloves, avoid technology may affect product quality improvement. Studies on the physical properties of weak acid aloe latex gloves and its apparent mass, pH, the durability of the tested. The results show that: the weak acid physical properties of aloe latex gloves tested in accordance with ASTM D3578-01 standard, and finished weak acid aloe latex gloves under the conditions of dry, sealed after five months of storage, the pH value of I lt; WP = gt; maintain good stability, meet the requirements of durability. Mechanism of gloves coated using SEM observed from the microscopic point of view of the weak acid coating, the application of nuclear magnetic resonance and infrared spectroscopy to investigate the coating glove bonding mechanism. The results show that: the weak acid coating is formed in the surface of the latex gloves, does not destroy the latex matrix structure, the between weak acid coating and gloves not chemically combined; but fitting force by mechanical binding and diffusion adsorption combined. In the actual production of the small-scale production, the products in accordance with ASTM D3578-01 standard, and exported to the United States.
