Abstract


Faults on both sides of stratigraphic tracking is of great significance in the interpretation of seismic data . Tectonic faults as one of the main features of which have an important role in gathering the oil and gas storage and migration . The conventional tomographic layers on both sides of the positioning and tracking of the method is the use of the feature similarity to artificially tracing and determination of the wave , and it relies on human experience , the lack of a quantitative analysis means . For this problem , the innovative use of artificial neural network , using the same reflective layer bit wave characteristics similar to an automatic horizon picking faults on both sides of layers continuous tracking . The paper discussed in detail the basic principles and the network structure of the artificial neural network ; bit for fault layer formation on both sides of the axis of the extraction , use of the earthquake feature extraction method , the extraction of characteristic parameters of the actual earthquake records ; in the same phase axis pickup or tracking , comparative analysis of the inclination sector picking method and picking method based on edge detection and self-organizing feature map SOFM method , SOFM unsupervised self- organized classification features characteristic parameters of seismic traces cluster analysis , which horizon positioning with axis trajectory ; the final thesis BP network faults on both sides of the strata continuous tracking . By actual seismic data processing and analysis , application -based the SOFM network of artificial neural network method and BP algorithm , for the fault layers on both sides of the extraction and tracking of layers has a good effect of direct and effective method for the fault on both sides layers positioned more accurately with the axis of the track , for faults on both sides to layers of bit tracking a quantitative analysis method , has a good effect .
