Abstract


In this paper, the process of follow-up observations of a large area of ??precipitation Doppler radar data, combined with high spatial and temporal resolution radiosonde and ground rainfall data on July 5, 2004 in Jilin, a large area of ??stratiform precipitation process in 2006 September 7 to 8 in the Guizhou region, a large area of ??laminated hybrid cloud precipitation process radar echo intensity, Doppler radial velocity and speed of a detailed analysis of the spectral width of the image. The results show that: 1) the large area of ??stratiform precipitation process, in accordance with the changes of the Doppler velocity image reflects the warm and cold advection changes in the strength and the level of convergence and divergence can analyze the wind field structure of the precipitation process, and its the basic judgment precipitation and extinction; entire precipitation process speed spectral width distribution also shows the rainfall for the stability of the precipitation process. Large area in Guizhou layer plot hybrid cloud precipitation process, inlaid with a convective cells in the stratiform clouds, with typical stratification hybrid cloud precipitation echo characteristics; Doppler radial velocity field distribution by small and medium-scale to large-scale motion change, have a better indication of the role of large area layer to plot hybrid cloud precipitation evolution trend; spectral width distribution also confirmed the precipitation of mixed precipitation process. 2) the elevation angle VAD method and adaptive VAD method to plot wind field structure of the hybrid cloud precipitation process quantitative calculation of a large area of ??stratiform clouds and layers, and their results with radiosonde and qualitative analysis of Doppler velocity map the results were compared, and found three wind field structure is basically the same.
