Abstract


Router as the core network equipment , has been more and more people's attention. With the growing popularity of the network , even in the family , but also widely used routers, To this end, the router technology research and development has the universalization significance and practical value . Proceed from the concept of embedded hardware development platform , design and implementation of the development environment and tool chain must be used in this system , then proceeded to describe elaborated on the target's boot program uBoot transplant process ; followed by analysis of the Linux operating system . the operating principle , as well as how to port Linux to the development board , and on the basis of the streamlined kernel , completed the root file system , embedded Web services , PPPoE dial-up service , DHCP services and firewall modules. Finally, the implemented system functionality and performance testing and analysis . The design and implementation includes the following aspects: 1 . Further study of embedded systems theory , independent building cross-compiler environment , the development board complete BootLoad and Linux transplantation . 2 -depth study of the mechanism of the Linux kernel , especially for the analysis of the network protocol stack . Completed the root file system , embedded Web services , design and implementation of the PPPoE dial-up service and DHCP services . In-depth discussion of the send and receive packets , CGI , NAT and Firewall achieve . The entire system functionality and performance testing , and came to the analysis report .
