Abstract


As the continuous development and even more perfection of UV detecting technology in military field, it has been used in civil field gradually. On the basis of solar-blind UV detecting technology, this paper is to develop the portable UV dual spectrum imaging system, using dual spectrum imaging technology that is based on the separation technology of UV-visible and digital image fusion technology that is based on DSE This system can be applied to real time detection and locating of corona discharge and forest fire.The novel solar blind UV imaging system is designed in using of optical taper coupling on the basis of solar blind UV filtering technology and spectrum conversion technology, and the kernel component is image intensifier. The UV detection efficiency and imaging quality are improved dramatically. At the same time, a image process hardware platform is developed with the DSP chip TMS320DM642 produced by TI corporation. And the system level program is also developed to accomplish image fusion. The detection result can be displayed and stored simultaneously. In addition, the mechanical structure of optical system is improved to make the architecture of whole system more compact, the adjustment of optic components more convenient and the working performance more reliable.The overall design of the UV dual spectrum imaging system is discussed in this paper. It puts emphasis on achievement of optic separation system, UV conversion and intensification system and DSP image fusion system. The result of trial shows that the UV dual spectrum imaging system runs stably and reliably and accomplishes the desired goal of real time detection, display and storage of UV signal.
