Abstract


Neural networks as an important branch of nonlinear science for the study of nonlinear problems provides a powerful tool . Currently the application is more common feedforward neural network, which among which BP networks and its improved form the majority. Despite significant achievements, they also have various deficiencies , proposed in recent years wavelet neural network (WNN) has been proved in many respects than the BP network has improved, especially in the field of forecasting advantages become more prominent. In this paper, a means of theory with practice , the BP network and wavelet networks both network performance in-depth comparative study analyzes their performance characteristics. And elaborated on this basis for predictive modeling using wavelet network methods essentials . Theoretical studies include: from the internal mechanism comparative analysis of the convergence performance of the two networks (including the convergence speed and stability, etc. ) , discloses the application of neural networks have a \network generalization performance characteristics of each . Practical applications , the study of the neural network modeling of technical problems. Preliminary study of a new sample papers of the original sample learning training on network effects , given the relevant conjecture.
