Abstract


At present, the development of website for agricultural products wholesale markets has become an important part of agricultural informatization in China. The National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) has stipulated that these markets must have their own websites to release market information. These websites can provide different users timely and accurate markets information to enhance their business connection and interaction. Additionally, they facilitate the government to monitor market and give support to related policy making.This thesis introduces the development of a website for agricultural products wholesale market, which provides different information services, such as market introduction, news, price information, supply and demand information, etc. After investigating many related websites, and considering the characteristics of agricultural products wholesale markets, we adopt extreme programming methodology in website development. During development, custom representatives are treated as team members and in-depth communicating can be carried out. This can largely reduces the risk of frequent changing in requirements. Meanwhile, ASP.NET is used for the website development, which can improve the efficiency of development, and shorten the period of whole project.This website includes a foreground module and a background module. The foreground module is the interface for ordinary users, including member management, product introduction, market information, and enterprise introduction. The background module is for management, including website management, office automation, deal management, and human resource management. The thesis gives detailed information about the design and implementation of all modules. The trial operation of this website has been done successfully, and it is expect to facilitate its users and promote prosperity of the market.
