With the prompt development of communication and computer technology, various embedded products especially consumer electronics hava held a large market share,and market demand for these products’software development has become more and more obvious. For meeting the project requirements,this paper mostly discuss the following issues from the standpoint of application:porting of JVM on WM; realization of SQLite’encryption and porting of SQLite on WM;realization of SQLiteJDBC on WM(this is the paper’s key components); test the result by case.If these problems are solved successfully, the embedded application of Java could be broaden, and a platform for software development of PDA could be bulid.The paper takes HP iPAQ HX2490c and Windows Mobile as embedded hardware and embedded operating system for researching platform.On the basis of deeply study of SQLite and JVM, implement a development environment using Java and SQLite successfully. Largely the paper discuss the realization of SQLiteJDBC.The paper’s innovation is using JDBC interface on WM.The main content of this paper is as follows. First,in view of existing problem the paper introduce JVM principle,and discuss the porting process mostly and the solution to these problems.Second,by the analyzing and comparision of Berkeley DB and SQLite database,the paper take SQLite as database,and deeply study of SQLite architecture and API interfaces,implement the SQLite encryption and successfully porting it to WM.Third,the pager mainly discuss the realization thought of SQLiteJDBC interface,and introduce JNI technology,and display the specific scheme design and basic step to realization.Last,the population information system as example,testing the result of experiment display that this system has high performance and steady operation,and reach the expected goal.
