Abstract


In recent years, with embedded technology and mobile communication technology continues to develop, based on personal digital processing (PDA) of each type of management information system has been widely used. In this thesis, it is against this background, research the development and application of PDA in the mobile data collection system.The new PDA-based mobile data collection system that can completely separated from the computer database circumstances, make use of the business software developing on the terminal in hand, to achieve rapid、accurate and reliable collect, inquiries、transceiver and statistics of data , the system fully functional, easy to operate、working stable and reliable, simple and easy to master, it is more simple、rapid、accurate than traditional approach means and can avoid the error caused by the manual human factors, greatly enhancing the efficiency of data collection.The main contents of this study include the following: First of PDA current domestic and international research and development status, introduced the importance of mobile data collection system based on PDA; The key technology of mobile data collection system has been introduced in detail in this thesis , including embedded systems、mobile database technique、wireless communication technique、global position system and mobile security issue, and now also elaborated on the application of a wide range of PDA Windows Mobile 5.0 embedded operating system; it leads the design of mobile data collection system based on PDA on the basis of expound of relevant techniques, the system design covers data flow diagram、function module design、and database design, etc., from a macro on the outlines of the PDA-based mobile data collection system framework; then designs the mobile data collection terminal based on PDA, includes structure of mobile data terminal、the desing of terminal software function、the choice of development platform,etc.Finally, in front under the guidance of theoretical knowledge, according to the analysis of the papers by the hardware design and software design and function module design, fully exploited the power of .NET development platform and Visual Studio 2005 development tools, to achieve the mobile data collection system based on PDA. After testing, the system basically achieves the expected design requirements.This thesis will be applied to the PDA technology in the mobile data collection, the use of Visual Studio 2005 development environment in VB.NET development of the language development of the system, and migrate to Windows Mobile 5.0 operating system with a PDA device, combining wireless communication、GPS、SQL Server Mobile databases、remote data exchange and other technologies to the data collection, research in this area few and far between, the characteristics of this thesis is also relevant for the future of research provided some lessons in it.
