Abstract


Modern society has entered the information age, the information platform is being built by all the companies for their own development, and from the informationization progress of domestic and foreign enterprises, the ERP implementation is the effective means of the process of information. The ERP implementation would not be easy in China, although the information platform from west integrated advanced management thought. The high failure rate of ERP project implementation discouraged many enterprises. Therefore, from the perspective of ERP project implementation and application, based on the Theory of Critical Success Factors, analysising the factors in the process of ERP implementation, to identify the key elements, and focus on the management and control, the thesis tries to enhance the success rate of ERP projects implementation in furniture enterprises.This thesis has done a specific study in following three areas:First of all, the thesis describes the ERP and the basic theory of Critical Success Factors, through literature research and quantitative analysis, summed up the project’s key elements in the process of ERP implementation; And obtained four critical success factors for furniture enterprises to implement ERP projects:Basis Data, Process Reengineering, Change Management and Senior Leadership Support, through the analysis of the case of ERP project.Secondly, through the qualitative analysis, the thesis focuses on the management principles and control methods of the four critical success factors:Basis Data, Process Reengineering, Change Management and Senior Leadership Support in the furniture industry’s ERP implementation project.Finally, combined of the real case of ERP projects implementation in Guangzhou Furniture Company A, the thesis transform the theory into the specific tools to guide practice, combined with the management principles and control methods of the corresponding key factors to verify the importance that critical success factors of the furniture enterprise in successful implementation of the project.
