Moral education of teenage which is one of the biggest domain of educational investigation is attached importance by educators both from home and abroad. Chinese abounds in cultural and moral education resources as mother tongue and has life-long effect for students who are in middle school which is a significant transition from immaturity to adult. Therefore, how to make use and develop the moral function of Chinese teaching is an issue that every Chinese educators have to think highly of and study.Recently Chinese teaching is increasingly thought highly of by all social circles. And through the reform of curriculum standard, some domains in Chinese teaching have developed, while moral education in Chinese teaching still has some problems, including the moral education is confound with political ideological education in Chinese teaching; the refuse of students; the value of moral education is not totally recognized; the mark for moral education in educational evaluation system are low. Depending on these situations, the essay states the relevance and differences between moral education and ideological education in Chinese teaching from the aspect of basic content and value. And it rethinks the shortcomings of moral education and provides the clues to improve the situations mentioned above. Furthermore, the essay analyses the current situation of moral education. Finally, the essay comes up the two ways to solve the problems. The first one is to ensure the smooth going of moral education in Chinese teaching from aspects of the relationship between teachers and students, family circumstance, public opinion, the positive part of education evaluation system. The second is to consolidate the moral education out of class. Moreover, the essay also comes up with the opinions for teachers on how to enhance the Chinese teaching quality and handle the relationship with students.
