Abstract


The SDFGD is one of the best abroad used desulphurization systems in the word. The flow field in absorber is a gas-solid two phase flow of SO2 air and the atomization absorbefacient. During the desulphurization, a series of physics and chemistry change would happen; the situation in the absorber is very complex. But the situation with flow field and the position with spray is decide the desulphurization efficiency. So, in order to design reasonable absorber and adjust optimal operation parameters, a good grip on the flowing characteristies of absorber flow field and rules of spray is very essential and significant.In the paper, the numerical calculation of the gas-solid two phase flow in desulphurization absorber is being solved with the turbulence k-e model, Reynolds NS equation and disperse phase DPM model, and by virtue of a mature commercial CFD code FLUENT. The calculation result shows that:(1) The absorber without spray, the flow field expend no enough, because predigesting the absorber model.(2) The spray number and position is heavily impact on the flow field in absorber.(3) In real work, it is better using mix spray for improving the desulphurization efficiency, it is better using high position spray if the real work situation need.(4) The desulphurization efficiency with uprightly spray is better than parallel spray, but, it need enough width in uprightly spray.(5) The absorber’s workload in a day with uprightly spray is better than. parallel spray.(6) the best spray angle is 45°with the boundary situation in this paper.From the results of simulation, spray droplet heavily impacts on the flow field, Some simulation results are compared with the theoretic calculation and the experimental data, and they are shows a good consistency. The method of the desulphurization process is right.
