Abstract


At present, all countries in the world have given unprecedented attention to the development of network education and have tried to let education in an advantage position in the future society for situating in the forefront of social development. From the current efficiency of education and teaching of China’s colleges and universities, the traditional examination tools which are paper and pen have appeared a lot of drawbacks which have became more and more prominent. These tasks such as design of subject content, organization of papers, printing, distribution, examination, reading and appraising paper etc. will spend a number of manpower and material and the efficiency is very low as well as the subject is very strong. That is, it is difficulty to achieve the education efficiency and fairness of examination by traditional educational methods. It is the inevitable tendencies to develop and expand the higher education by the net educational form as well as adopt paperless examination.In order to adapt to the needs of higher vocational education, many higher vocation & technical colleges are now using the teaching information management system, which puts omni-bearing management of students’basic information and school roll etc. and mainly practices computer management of students’prophase of study teaching arrangements, courses and classrooms assignment as well as later period test and results arrangements. This paper researched and developed the paperless examination system of teaching information system.Paperless examination system is an important subsystem and component of the whole teaching process management. It is helpful for detection and evaluation the effects of classroom and stage teaching to develop the paperless examination system. Thus this system also provides information feedback for teacher and gives effective management tools for next teaching.The system is based on B/S structure and is carried out by the latest NETFramework2.0 framework and also used the SQLserver 2005 system as the background database. Through adopting combination of ASP.NET technology and the SQLserver, it helps realize the examination and evaluation of the course of computer application base. At last it provides suitable many courses examination platform. It is characterized by simple, easy to use, more secure. According to the traditional examination process, the system makes reasonable structure design which includes these function modules of authentication, test management, online examinations, marking management (computer automated scoring and manual scoring), scores management and statistical analysis, the system inquiry. And this system also has identification with the registry, as required random draw title, time score and other functions. It meets general requirements and the design early stage guideline thoughts.
