Abstract


Short-term economic dispatching of cascade-reservoir system plays an important role for power system optimal operation, so correct and rational arrangement of its operation model is very important to the security, stability and economic operation of the whole power system. This dissertation studies the situation of the short-time optimal operation on cascade hydropower plants, expatiates on some theories and methods of the short-time optimal operation on cascaded hydropower plants, and discuss the practice of these theory and method carefully. The main works are outlined as the following:This article introduces the significance of the research and main accomplishment of short-term cascade hydropower plants optimal generation operation and the usual method.This dissertation analyzes the significance and necessity, and the development of methods of the different timesharing electric price. It offers models of maximum hydropower and maximum profit under the different timesharing electric price, and particular describes the goal function and the restraining terms to the models.Ant colony algorithm is a new heuristic optimization method and it has many merits. This article describes the origin of the ant colony algorithm and its basic idea, merits and drawbacks. It introduces an improved ant algorithm, and applies it to the model of short-term cascaded hydropower plants optimal generation operation.With examples, it calculates different operating results of optimal operation in considering different timesharing electric price situation and without regard to different timesharing electric price. By analyzing the results that the electric power generation of considering different timesharing is markedly improved.It summaries the work and gives the directions in the further research.
