Abstract


The study summarizes the previous researches about the school adaptation status of college student. By summarizing the research content, method and instrument, we can find out that the previous researches are lack of whole study and unified and standardization instrument. Aimed at these disadvantages, the study investigates the school adaptation of technical college students, who are special group, by University Personality Inventory (UPI) and self-designed Technical College Students’Behavior Problem Measuring Scale, based on extent researches. We employ variance analysis, regression analysis and correlation analysis to analyze the prediction of the total score, type and dimensions of UPI and family background to the school adaptation of technical college students (included external behavior problems, internal behavior problems and academic achievement problems), in order to play prompt and valid intervention.The result manifests:⑴The academic achievement problems in school adaptation of technical college students are the salient.⑵The total score and type of UPI can’t predict the students’school adaptation problems significantly, but the dimensions of UPI do.⑶The analysis of family background to adaptation shows:①The students in different places show significant differences on external behavior problems and academic achievement problems②The row in family doesn’t affect the students’school adaptation.③Parental education level , parental occupation can predict different problems of the students’school adaptation, in which the mother has played a greater affection.
