Abstract


The dissertation first give a general introduction of the background knowledge, including the series of IEEE 802.16 standards, WiMAX certification tests, the contents and methods of WiMAX Radio Conformance Tests (RCT) and the importance of finding out a way to implement automatic testing. Then a solution of RCT automatic testing in both hardware and software aspect based on 802.16 standards and WiMAX certification specifications is given. Then the structure and implementation of hardware platform and software module is expounded. The main task of this dissertation is the implementation of the system management and control software. Written in C++ language and compiled in VC++6.0 environment makes the software graphical user interface very friendly. The system software implement the following functions:connect and control all the testing equipments during testing period, automatic system calibration, implement automatic RCT testing, testing result judgment, testing information management and create testing reports. And at the end of the dissertation, a brief estimation of the test system is given.
