Abstract

Potato processing varieties breeding is the main target of the potato breeding work in the current and future period choice of hybrid parents and hybrid combinations of the evaluation should also take into account the the processing quality goals traits, and not just focus on the traditional sense high-yielding and disease-resistant. The potato varieties Atlantic is currently the domestic cultivation largest fried piece dedicated processing varieties, excellent quality characteristics. This test Atlantic as the female parent, 12 cultivars with different characteristics and specific germplasm male parent, a total of 12 hybrid combinations. Asexual generation of the test combinations for the test materials were planted in Harbin and Keshan two test points around point field trials are completely random arrangement, twice repeated. Main agronomic traits, yield and some quality traits of determination, a multi-year joint variance analysis, frequency distribution, fuzzy mathematics comprehensive evaluation and with the pro-regression analysis, evaluation of different combinations of major traits specific to the test results performance and integrated features, to infer parental combining ability and heritability. Comprehensive evaluation of various combinations of the value in the breeding of new varieties and the specific use of the direction, resources innovation and breeding for potato-based material. The results show that: 1. Traits for plant height, grain yield per plant per plant potato, potato rate of goods and tuber reducing sugar content of the test combinations are not subject to the interaction effects between the combination of location; yield per plant, dry matter and reducing sugar content in place of there were significant differences in plant height and rate of commercial potato locations very significant difference, except yield per plant, other traits showed very significant difference combinations. 2. Each combination of the frequency distribution of the results showed that the Atlantic × D2 Atlantic × g new No. 16 is a fine combination of screening round potato, which the former can filter out the white flesh-colored, low reducing sugar content of fine material; Atlantic × Zhukov, Atlantic × the T1800 and Atlantic × Ns880407, is a combination of screening shallow buds, the latter two can also filter out a high proportion of fine materials: Atlantic × Zhukov combination can filter out the fine white flesh-colored material Atlantic × T1800 can filter out low reducing sugar the fine material. Atlantic and hybrid combination of new cultivars heterogeneity combined to produce a larger yield advantage. 3. Fuzzy Mathematics Comprehensive Evaluation results show that: the Atlantic × D2, of Atlantic x Zaodabai and the combination Atlantic × Ns83-1, the best overall performance of the three hybrid combinations. 4. With the pro-regression analysis showed that: (C.P.R.) number of commercial potato marketable tuber weight and specific gravity based additive effect, roughly the additive effect of potato number per plant and reducing sugar content and non-additive effects monoclonal potato weight is based on non-additive effects. Atlantic × D2, Atlantic × Ns880407 the Atlantic × Ns83, 1 and Atlantic × Zaodabai combination of paternal and maternal parent Atlantic in yield traits higher specific combining ability Atlantic × Zaodabai to and Atlantic × Ns83-1 paternal and maternal parent Atlantic specific combining ability in processing quality traits are not high. 5. Integrated a variety of statistical methods, the results can be seen, the optimal combination of integrated traits of the Atlantic × D2 and Atlantic × Ns880407,,, can focus for to screening food processing varieties; combination of the Atlantic × Zaodabai Atlantic × g New No. 16, Atlantic × Ns83-1 can be used to focus on screening large tubers, high-yielding varieties of fresh types, and other parts of the portfolio can be screened out a small amount of superior clones continue to evaluate. Point of view, from a combination of the type of the Atlantic with a hybrid type of new cultivars is the most promising combination type filter suitable varieties of food processing.
