Abstract


Forest resources is not only a renewable natural resource, but also its unique three benefits to become an important link of the contact environment and socio-economic development. How regulation and control of forest resources to ensure its sustainability, improve their capacity for sustainable development, in order to meet the huge demand of the socio-economic development of the forest resources, is an important practical problems, but also social - economic - environmental systems coordinated and sustained the key to development. Hainan Island is one of China's main tropical regions, save a large area of ??pristine tropical forest, a unique development of forest resources. Study on the present situation of Hainan's tropical forest resources and their sustainability, not only is the need of the Hainan tropical forest sustainable management, sustainable development strategy, and will become one of the decisive factors in Hainan Ecological Province ability to achieve the goal of building . This article is mainly based on the statistics of forest resources, ecology, sustainable theory and systems theory guidance based on the status of forest resources, the dynamic changes, trends and sustainability were discussed study are as follows: analysis of the dynamic process of change, Hainan forest resources, the population dynamics of the founding of Forest Resources after detailed discussion. The results show that the resource total and per capita consumption is not high, area and volume of forest resources continued to increase, but the irrational structure of forest resources, forest resources, poor quality, low forest productivity, forest resources still need long-term recovery. Using the model to analyze the sustainability of forest resources macro trends, the results show that the use of the existing forest resources into the sustainable development track basic overall trends but sustainability remains weak. Forest resources by Advanced unsustainable state evolution towards sustainable state. 3 gray system theory to build forest resources GM (1,1) model to predict the 2008 review of the main indicators of forest resources, the results show that the forest coverage will reach (58.57 ± 0.56)%, forest coverage rate is expected to reach the target of 60%, the predictive value of forest land area (192 ± 5.03) million hm2, the stand unit area volume was a clear downward trend. 4. Establish the index system to evaluate the sustainability of the forest resource capacity, results show that the sustainability of existing forest resources in Hainan Composite Index is 0.747, in the middle to the weakness of sustainable operating state. Hainan's tropical forest resources has a rich biodiversity, more stable forest resource structure. But the main limiting factor currently affecting sustainability achieved yet have there is a certain gap between the socio-economic performance and the forest eco-efficiency.
