Housing security, was originally a government for poor people and low-income people, provide financial and in-kind subsidies to meet their basic housing needs, to achieve full and housing of a social security system. However, along with rapid economic development, housing prices continued to rise, new housing issues abound. At present, China is in the population structure variants period, both China has advanced into the "aging" phase, or a large flow of migrant workers led to the gradual disintegration of urban-rural dual structure, or just out of university graduates, for housing demand is growing. As the housing security system is not fully supporting the existing policy can not keep up with the pace of housing demand. Lead to multi-disadvantaged groups in society has not been covered within the scope of protection.This paper discusses the definition and role of housing security, while three-pronged protection of Jilin Province, a study of housing. For the housing security system, Jilin province affordable housing policy and housing needs to make a comprehensive analysis of structural changes. By borrowing from the housing security system, make recommendations, and strive for the future reform of Jilin Province and the construction of the housing security system to provide a good basis.Based on the above contents, the paper summarizes the development of Jilin Province in the housing security problems, and presents my development of affordable housing in the province of new ideas, emphasizing the situation of social development should be a new type of vulnerable groups and middle-income people with objects in- to the housing support among the province. To ease the pressure on people, housing, housing support and actively promote the cause of rapid development, improve housing security system made the reasonable views.
