Abstract


Projects have become a existence way of enterprise in 21 century. Every enterprise has lots of projects and they upgrade their products’competitive capability to gain a flavor position in competitions via executing projects. Then how to manage projects and how to carry out a effective project management becomes a hot topic of current research. Project Management and its relative tools have been widely studied and used abroad and become an active ideology as well. However, Project Management is not highly applied in domestic industries except those in fierce completions such as Information Technology industry. Application researches of Project Management concerning on industries are rare.This article introduces a practical Project Management application of A company Engine Production Line development Project. Through the research of Timing Control & Risk Management, it talks about the Project Management ideology and initiating comprehensive resources in the organization as well as combining Powertrain Development Process with the Lean Manufacturing System of the company effectively to insure the project success. It is of referenced significance to other similar project managements.
