Abstract

Ships sailing in the ocean waves , will have six degrees of freedom of movement . Serious pitching motion can lead to head slamming on deck , the seaworthiness of vessels ( ships) , security , accuracy of combat weapons to attack , the crew, the ship work and life of comfort has a great impact, in severe cases may be caused by ships lost operational capability , or even swing to overturning . Pitching motion , but not yet to see effective Antirolling device . In view of this situation , this article is based on the theory of movement of the ship on the waves , a new type of cross-shaped passive anti pitching rudder . This paper introduces the concept of cross-shaped anti - pitching rudder , a preliminary discussion of the cross-shaped anti- pitching rudder hydrodynamic mechanism of action and its impact on the pitch and heave equation ; and on this basis , given the single screw single rudder and the oars the twin rudders ship were the practical design of anti pitching rudder . Improved slice theoretical calculation method (STF Act ) and spectral analysis method , to for different rudder type programs , examine and compare different speed , different waves to ship in regular wave angle pitch , heave frequency response function ; thus examine and compare the pitching of the ship in the class of irregular waves of different wave heave -defined values ??, characteristics of the wave number of the acceleration of the bow and stern , deck and minimum freeboard . Against pitching the Antirolling rudder effect theoretical results show that the new anti longitudinal wave rudder effect Antirolling has good prospects for engineering applications .
