Abstract

With the sustainable development thought and ecological culture going into further, protection of the ecological environment becomes more and more import. The following ecological belt plan gets gradually attention. The fast growth and random expanding of city attack the boundary of ecological protection from time to time. The traditional planning system functions poorly. Facing the present situation that there are many problems during the plan, to coordinate the contradiction between ecological protection and construction is solved urgently. Integration of so many related methods is absent. The conflict is inevitable. We feel an urge to find an integrated solution not only dealing with planning problems, but also secures the realization of it.The planning of ecological belt belongs to interdisciplinary study and comprehensive study as well. This paper encircling the contradiction between ecological protection and construction aims to come up with a standard workable planning method that can adjust multi-department and multi-subjects from value orientation and method of plan. This paper attempts to delimit ecological zone and minimum scale, which is to combine methods of ecological sensitivity evaluation and landscape ecological positioning from the ecological point of view. Then to reckon construction land scale from the needs of city development. Scenario analysis is brought in based on the contradiction above to coordinate the contradiction and ecological belt plan. Based on the summarization of the existing methods, a case study of southwest Hangzhou ecological belt is provided in this paper to diagnose the present planning methods and hopefully to make it more workable and scientific.
