Abstract


Statistical Process Control (Statistical Process Control, SPC) have played a huge role in promoting aspects of the technology in the promotion of industrial production process improvements , productivity gains and improved product quality . SPC technology in the manufacturing industry to promote the success of the implementation , to create invaluable for many businesses , also laid the basis for the theory and practice of SPC in the software industry . This article describes how to SPC technology is introduced into the field of software development , transparent and quantitative management of software project management . In the field of traditional single- variable statistical process control , particularity for the field of software development , with examples , the main details of the principle of statistical control technology , focuses on the X-Rs Figure C Figure computational principles and usage . The same time , the authors also studied the concepts and principles of multivariate statistical process control techniques , using principal component analysis of the interrelated relationship exists process parameters were analyzed , and use the contribution figure out the main reason for the anomaly caused by the process of direction , success multivariate statistical control techniques in the control of the software development process . Based on these studies , the authors developed a simple and easy-to-use control diagram drawing tool based on MS Excel , and two examples show two process control methods in the software development process .
