Abstract

With the rapid development of modern industrial wastewater pollution problems, many producers emissions are growing. Characteristics of heavy metal ions from wastewater poison valid for a long, sustained, such as non-biodegradable, it can result in the organism carcinogenic through the food chain in bioaccumulates, disability, teratogenic; dyeing wastewater composition is more complex, contained toxic and hazardous substances would seriously pollute the environment. Therefore, these harmful wastewater treatment is very urgent attention on wastewater treatment. The assay is one important approach. Bentonite has a strong ion exchange capacity and a large surface area showed a strong adsorption performance, and therefore can be used for wastewater treatment. Substantial increase in the the natural bentonite adsorption capacity and broaden the application areas of the paper using the in situ polymerization of the copolymer modified bentonite - acrylic copolymer / bentonite complex, and research on different types of wastewater (ie metal ion or adsorption of the dye-containing compound aqueous solution) first introduced the method of wastewater treatment, modified bentonite and its modified products in the heavy metals in waste water and dye wastewater treatment applied research were reviewed, summarizes bentonite, organic change Problems in sex. Secondly, sodium bentonite (NaB) as raw materials, for the first time by in situ polymerization of the hydrophilic monomer with the hydrophobic monomer in the bentonite dispersion was copolymerized the Preparation Two novel the Amphiphilic acrylic copolymer / bentonite compound, i.e. copolymer P (MAV) / NAB complexes and cross-linked copolymer P (MAVM) / NAB composite,. Infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and instrumental analysis methods to study its composition, microstructure, morphology and surface functional groups. P (MAVM) / NaB adsorbent treated separately containing Pb 2 , Cd 2 wastewater, examined wastewater pH, amount of adsorbent, metal ion the initial concentration, adsorption temperature and adsorption time of its adsorption properties. Found that the adsorption process Pb 2 wastewater, 25 ° C, at pH = 5, P (MAVM) / NaB = 0.2 g / L [of Pb 2 ] = 50.0 mg / L, the oscillation 30min under the conditions of adsorption effects best removal rate of 94.40%, Pb 2 ; processing Cd 2 wastewater, 25 ° C, pH = 6 P (MAVM) / NaB = 1.0g / L, [Cd 2 ] = 200.0mg / L, oscillation 60min conditions, the removal rate was 89.54%. Further investigate the adsorption isotherm model and the kinetic. Found that the adsorption kinetics characteristics in line with the quasi-second-order kinetic model, adsorption isotherm Freundlich isotherm model better. Fourth, the P (MAV) / NaB compound for the adsorption of the dye compound - methylene blue (MB), magenta (BF) examined the pH of the aqueous solution, adsorbent dosage, initial dye concentration and adsorption temperature adsorption The time of its adsorption performance. Found that adsorption process MB wastewater, 25 ° C, pH = 6-7 [MB] = 20.0 mg / L, P (MAVM) / NaB] = 0.1 g / L, oscillation adsorption at 5 min, MB solution of The decolorization rate up to 97.73%. Found that the adsorption treatment BF wastewater, pH = 6-7, 25 ° C [BF] = 100.0 mg / L; [P (MAVM) / NaB] = 1.0 g / L, the oscillation under 5min conditions of decolorization rate of 95.96% . Further investigate the adsorption isotherm model and the kinetic. Found that the adsorption kinetics characteristics in line with the quasi-second-order kinetic model, adsorption isotherm Freundlich isotherm model better. In summary, the acrylic copolymer prepared amphiphilic / bentonite complexes were used for the adsorption of the metal ions with the dye compound. Found to have a high adsorption properties, and is expected for the processing or enrichment of various metal ions and a dye.
