Abstract


1 The objectThe nature and flavor reflect the traditional Chinese medicine property of a medicine characteristic.and by making medicines compatible realizes nature and flavor compatibility of formulae.At present,the study on compatibility of the nature and flavor of formulae has made certain achievements,but it was not enough depth.Cinnamon Twig and Licorice Root Decoction,which is from <Shang Han Lun>, is composed of cinnamon twig and licorice root,and have the efficacy of "Yang-Oriented Xin-Gan".It is simple,and reflect nature and flavor compatibility,so we choose it as a breakthrough of this study,and study the of the mechanism associated with the chemical composition of "Yang-Oriented Xin-Gan",analyze pharmacodynamic basis of "Yang-Oriented Xin-Gan".The object is that have offer guide to other study on compatibility of the nature and flavor.This study intended to,be Cinnamon Twig and Licorice Root Decoction （cinnamon twig with licorice root）as an example,study the efficacy, pharmacology,chemical composition and other aspects,analyse the correlativity between the nature and flavor-the efficacy-chemical composition,explore pharmacodynamic basis of compatibility of the nature and flavor,push with compatibility rule of formulae to deep arrangement of ideas.2 The methodsWe apporch the pharmacodynamic action of Cinnamon Twig and Licorice Root Decoction（cinnamon twig with licorice root）"Yang-Oriented Xin-Gan" through the study on anti-blood platelet accumulation and anti-thrombus.We apporch the mechanism of action of Cinnamon Twig and Licorice Root Decoction（cinnamon twig with licorice root）"Yang-Oriented Xin-Gan" through the study on release function of plastocyte and calcium ion concentration in plastocyte.Cinnamon Twig and Licorice Root Decoction（cinnamon twig with licorice root）is studied the change of chemical composition by thin-layer chromatography method.Cinnamaldehyde,Glycyrrhetinic Acid and Cinnamic Acid in Cinnamon Twig and Licorice Root Decoction,cinnamon twig decoction and licorice root decoction are detected by high performance liquid chromatography method.3 The result of this experimentsCinnamon twig with licorice root have distinguished pharmacodynamic action of anti-thrombus and anti-blood platelet accumulation,compare with cinnamon twig group（P＜0.05）and licorice root group（P＜0.01）.Cinnamon twig with licorice root can increase the level of cAMP and 6-Keto-PGF1.,decease cGMP,TXB2 and calcium ion concentration of plastocyte.Thin-layer chromatography method’ s consequence indicate the chemical composition didn’t change.High performance liquid chromatography method results showed that the concentration of Cinnamal dehyde in Cinnamon Twig and Licorice Root Decoction is higher than it is in cinnamon twig decoction and licorice root decoction, the concentration of Cinnamic Acid is lower,the concentrtion of Glycyrrhetinic Acid have not changed.4 ConclusionAccording to this experiment and related research development,we presume can elevate the of Cinnamaldehyde in Cinnamon Twig,Cinnamaldehyde can improve release function of plastocyte and calcium ion concentration in plastocyte,and the blood platelet accumulation.That is,Licorice Root increase Cinnamaldehyde’s concentration in Cinnamon Twig and Licorice Root Decoction,which is one of Pharmacodynamic Basis of "Tang-Oriented Xin-Gan".
