Abstract

Technological parameters of bio-hydrogen production and methane from corn stalk by anaerobic fermentation were optimized in this thesis. The results are as follows:1:Bio-hydrogen production characteristics of seven natural bacterial sources using 20 g/L sucrose as feedstock were investigated, and it was found that the sludge collected from Jinshui river of Zhengzhou city was most effective. When it was pretreated by dried at 110℃, the maximum cumulative hydrogen yield from sucrose was 280 ml/g-substrate, and the maximum hydrogen concentration was 47.9%.The following verification experiment with a 10L bio-reactor was carried out, the cumulative hydrogen yield of 64.3 ml/g-substrate, maximum hydrogen production rate of 18.8 mlH2/g/h, and maximum hydrogen content of 48.1% were observed using corn stalk pretreated by 0.3% HCl, respectively.2. Acid hydrolysis parameters of corn stalks were investigated, the maximum cumulative hydrogen yield of 114.7 ml/g-substrate and the maximum hydrogen concentration was 45.3% was obtained at condition of hydrolysis time of 60 min by 1.5%H2SO4 at 121℃,and solid-to-liquid ratio is 1:10.3. The technological parameters of bio-hydrogen production using the artificial corn stalk wastewater was optimized with a 10L bio-reactor. When HRT=6 h and pH=4.5±0.2, the hydrogen production reaction system can continue to operation(403 h), the maximum hydrogen production rate of 0.316LH2/(L·h)、maximum hydrogen concentration of 62.1%,and cumulative hydrogen yield of 379.2 ml/g-substrate4. Effects of temperature, initial pH, substrate concentration, and dosage of the added decomposition agent on methane production from corn stalk were investigated in the study. Results of the batch experiments showed that the optimum conditions for methan production from 50 g/L corn stalks were 50±1℃, at initial pH of 8.0, with the added decomposition agent concentration of 0.075 g/Kg-cornstalk. The maximum methane yield achieved in the batch experiments was 321.0 ml/g-substrate, with the maximum methane content of 78.2%, and the maximum methane production rate of 56.7 ml/(g·d); In the flowing amplicatory experiments, the maximum methane yield from 150 g/L corn stalk was 204.9 ml/g-substrate, with the maximum methane content of 79.5% and the maximum methane production rate of 24.1 ml/(g·d).
