In the era of knowledge economy, knowledge is the strategic resource, knowledge management is the corporate face of the new situation to make strategic response. The same time, the knowledge management as a new technology, its goal is to improve the overall level of collaboration, so that the main body of knowledge management - user can quickly and easily access to the knowledge needed by the most appropriate knowledge in the most appropriate time transfer to the most appropriate person to achieve the best decision. Traditional knowledge management approach, however, the lack of a unified semantic description of information resources, difficult for users to find related resources and demand, it is difficult to achieve semantic integration of resources. Application can understand the meaning of how to make the management of information resources to facilitate the users to find related information resources and demand, and according to the information resources with the domain knowledge, semantic integration of information resources, these problems are knowledge management system the challenges faced. Ontology to the problem to a solution, the use of ontology, knowledge of machine readable, it allows the user to semantic retrieval of information (knowledge), so as to facilitate users to find the knowledge needed. This paper discusses the ontology in enterprise knowledge management system, the use of enterprise management information system (MIS Management Information System), the idea of ??its construction, introduced by the ER diagram to ontology transformation. Given the latest development of the application W3C OWL (Ontology Web Language) language constructs ontology library and the corresponding semantic retrieval tools, paper is divided into four parts: the first part introduces the concept of knowledge management, knowledge management system, at home and abroad development status and basic knowledge of and clarify the meaning of knowledge management system for enterprise development; Second, the theory of ontology status of research at home and abroad. The second part, the concept of ontology, ontology modeling primitives, the classification of the main body, the structure of the body guidelines and common ontology construction method for a brief exposition.
