Abstract

The paper prepared by a variety of amphiphilic starch derivatives, including polystyrene grafted starch nano crystal, benzyl starch nanocrystals and octyl starch ester, etc.. By FTIR. 1H NMR, XRD, SEM and amphiphilic starch derivatives were characterized and amphiphilic starch nanocrystals obtained and natural rubber blends prepared rubber nanocomposites observed by SEM composite interface compatibility, and to study the mechanical properties and dynamic viscoelasticity, wet skid resistance of the composite analysis, the relationship between low rolling resistance with amphiphilic starch nanocrystals. The acidolysis prepared starch nanocrystals and amphiphilic starch nanocrystals modified. When the sulfuric acid concentration of 3mol / L, 7 days at 45 ° C under acid solution can be prepared about 50nm starch nanocrystalline. Grafting of styrene and starch nanocrystals prepared by the reaction of the the polystyrene grafted starch nanocrystals. FTIR and ~ 1HNMR that the polystyrene successfully grafted onto starch nanocrystals, XRD showed that the grafting reaction did not cause the starch nano Jingjing change. Particle size increase after the grafting reaction can be observed by the SEM. The infiltration experiment demonstrates amphiphilic starch Nanocrystalline has good amphiphilic, both may be dispersed in a polar solvent in the non-polar solvent can also be a good diffusion. Polystyrene grafted starch Nanocrystals by the monomer ratio, initiator concentration and reaction time factors. The preferred reaction conditions are: 100ml aqueous solution containing 3 grams of starch Nanocrystals, the ratio of the amount of the styrene monomer and starch nanocrystalline material (M / SN) to 1.5:1, and initiator dosage of monomer 0.5 (wt %), the reaction for 10 hours at 72 ℃ under. In addition, respectively, through heterogeneous reactions and solid phase prepared by parents benzyl starch nanocrystals, and octyl starch ester. With the increase in the reaction concentration, the degree of substitution of the two systems are increased. Prepared by coprecipitation amphiphilic starch nanocrystals / rubber nanocomposites. The polystyrene grafted starch nanocrystalline (M / SN = 0.5) of the total weight of rubber 15% or 5% polystyrene-grafted starch nanocrystalline (M / SN = 2) with a rubber blend, and the resulting nanocomposites machinery performance has been significantly improved; dynamic mechanical properties tanδ show that significantly improved wet skid resistance, rolling resistance can be reduced further by filling carbon black, silica; SEM showed that the filler and the matrix has a good interface compatibility .
