Abstract


As a logistics system, logistics infrastructure, the real set of logistics, information flow and capital flow in one, is the flow-based logistics network nodes, effectively enhancing the logistics efficiency, better service levels to improve logistics and reduce costs, make better logistics operations generate economies of scale. Metal logistics center is an important part of modern logistics system, its construction and development of metal processing enterprises to expand business scope and value-added areas have a positive role in promoting, therefore, the metal industry, planning and research as a logistics center logistics part of the overall plan with extremely important research and practical significance.In this paper, some of the logistics center of the theory and the factors affecting the development of a preliminary review and summarize, then logistics center planning and design to solve the problems put forward their own opinions and views, to enable accurate planning and design of the logistics center positioning. Introduction by flexsim simulation software to practice the way of the logistics center planning and design and verify the simulation run. In this paper, the logistics center planning and design for a more comprehensive and in-depth research, this paper proposes a logistics center planning and design has made some solution ideas, hoping to improve our logistics center planning and design standards while promoting the logistics center’s health long-term development.This content sections as follows:Chapter I Introduction. This paper introduces the research background, literature review and research ideas and content. Chapter layout planning logistics center for the metal of the basic theory. Chapter layout of our metal distribution center status and problems of analysis. Chapter logistics center of China’s metal classification and layout planning principles. Chapter V of the metal-based flexsim logistics center planning and simulation applications. Chapter optimize the layout of the metal logistics center planning countermeasures and suggestions. Chapter VII Conclusions and outlook.
