Abstract

The transformer is the important equipment in the power system . With the continuous development of the power system and expand the number of transformers are increasing. Large stock of transformers is near or run to the end of the design life , replace all need a lot of money ; partly transformer , reasonable maintenance , can continue to run for a period of time , if the replacement will be an unnecessary waste ; in order to avoid blindly replace the economic loss caused by , or pose a security risk based on run , it is necessary to take advantage of modern technology and methods to assess the remaining life of the transformer , transformers run under conditions of safety to the maximum service life . The traditional life evaluation method to predict the device's initial life , i.e. obtained by destructive test sample data , the predicted life of the device . Although the aging model considering electricity - thermal - mechanical joint stress , but that the equipment during operation by the electric field strength and mechanical strength remains the same , the lack of the ability to self-correct , and far removed from the actual situation . This paper presents a new approach based condition monitoring of transformer life assessment . On the basis of the state parameters , consider transformer priori data , maintenance conditions , and the defect , consolidated constructed transformer life evaluation system . Select the hottest temperature , electric field strength and partial discharge as the research object , by analyzing the thermal aging and electrical - thermal aging life score model to estimate the remaining life of the transformer score ; fingerprint analysis of the amount of discharge characteristics for partial discharge , using factor analysis , new feature quantity extraction , while the different discharge phase of the new feature quantity is based decision tree constructed discharge state , obtained according to the lifetime score model as a basis for discriminating discharge stages of development , this discharge phase of the lifetime score . Finally , the use of expert decision - making is reasonable to determine the weight through comprehensive evaluation method , in life score factor based on the calculation of the the transformer integrated health level index , and ultimately come to the the transformer health status and remaining life of this method to the assessment of the remaining life of the transformer and condition monitoring data combined , more reasonable transformer life assessment , not only to improve the safety and reliability of the power system operation , better save the cost of replacing all the transformers .
