Abstract


Floating architecture is macro sense of floating rather than drifted building. Starting with a floating dock which linked to land and can be got access into the district on road and waterway. For the plan itself, floating architecture system can expand and contract at different speeds and in different locations. Compared with the onshore static fixed architecture, the combination of typical traditional urban architectural design and architectural floating lays its significance on bring more flexibility and sustainability to the development of the city and the nation.The concept of floating architecture is under the background of land resources tension and marine expansion launch, and after the rational analysis, it starts with short-term tourism then develop into long-term settlement. This paper is main in "floating architecture concept formed - necessity and feasibility analysis, planning and design and technical difficulties - industrial development strategy" to research and explore the four chapters.Chapter 1, Overview of Floating Architecture, the introduction to the cause of floating architecture and the objective environment of development, listing the framework of floating architecture, then makeing definition and classification according to the analysis of characteristics of sea habitant’s behaviour.Chapter 2, Necessity and Feasibility of Floating Architecture, puts forward the opinion that developing floating architecture is to develop China’s "blue civilization", and expounds the importance of the Blue Civilization for coastal economic development, meaning, expanding domestic demand and development of tourism economy.Chapter 3, Floating Architecture Planning and Design of Residential Development, puts forward the guidelines and principles of planning and design, especially for the analysis of floating landscape architecture visual system, then make personal design principles and position for floating architecture. Finally suggests solutions for the difficulties in planning.Chapter 4, Floating Architecture Model Industrial Development and Strategy, proposes solution during the process of industrialization, and put forward to strategic measure for the development of floating building.This paper generally bases on the research of the concept, put forward practical design for the key technology, then find out a guiding design plan for the further development of Blue Civilization and "new marine space" after research and analysis of citizens and living environment. Floating architecture is not only buildings but also brilliant design concept. This thesis is trying to discover "hedonism " of new field, which change from "I have never been here" to human psychological research, finally into the aspect of developing conceive. Floating architecture carries the practical significance for nature, humanity, building technologies, and outlook of Blue Civilization architecture.
