Abstract

The theory that function of liver yang based on yin and blood , one part of the visceral manifestation theory of Traditional Chinese Medicine , is based on the theory of yin-yang and leaded by overall concept , concluded the characteristics of physiological and pathological under the visceral manifestation theory of Traditional Chinese Medicine. On physiologic state, the liver stores blood, domination of the conducting and dispersing. The liver body yield feminine, and then can functioned masculine, meanwhile, only effecting masculine, the liver body can be feminine. On pathological state, the both can affect each other. The liver of yin nature loss flexible can lead the function of liver-yang partial hyperactivity. The liver of yang function loss temperature and proper or ministerial fire partial hyperactivity can also lead the liver of yin nature loss flexible. In clinical practice, it is usually to see the liver of yin nature more deficiency, more hyperactivity yang function can be. More hyperactivity yang function can consume more liver-yin. So it is necessary to make a further study of the theory that function of liver yang based on yin and blood. In this dissertation, we adopted the bibliographical researching methods to explore the original meaning and clinical significance of the theory that function of liver yang based on yin and blood.In the part of the literature review, through analyzing the clinical appliance of zi-yin qian-yang, one of the therapeutic methods which accord with the characteristics of the theory that function of liver yang based on yin and blood, we summarized the appliance situation in the clinic at present and confirmed the clinical value further.The dissertation is composed of four parts.The first part is tracing the source of the theory. Through compiling and analyzing ancient medical experts’statements relevant to liver and yin nature with yang function, we explore the background of the occurrence of the theory-functional liver-yang based on constitutional liver-yin and get the concludes: the theory that function of liver yang based on yin and blood is occurred by transplanting philosophical body and function categories to the theory of liver.The second part is exploring the original meaning of the theory that function of liver yang based on yin and blood. Through explaining the meanings of philosophical body and function and ancient medical experts’statements relevant to the liver of yin nature with yang function, then we systematic conclude several meanings that relevant to the liver of yin nature with yang function. Aiming at the disputes of the theory that function of liver yang based on yin and blood in the present medicine field, we point out the focus of the disputes and get our viewpoints finally.The second part, which is based on tracing the source of the theory, is the research of clinical syndrome significance of the theory that function of liver yang based on yin and blood. Taking the theory that function of liver yang based on yin and blood as the guidance, it is separate to establishing therapeutic methods, analyzing the composition of prescription and medical records citing. In the part of establishing therapeutic methods, through compiling ancient medical experts’treatments for liver diseases at first, then we get several treatments which are under the theory that function of liver yang based on yin and blood. In the part of composition of prescription, through analyzing the compatible regularity of past dynasties famous complex prescription, we get the herb-pairs which accord with the characteristics of the theory that function of liver yang based on yin and blood, that is bupleurum chinese in combination with white peony root . The medical records are the additions to the contents aforementioned. Through the work above, we summarize the clinical presentations, pathogenesis, therapeutic principles and prescription of the theory that function of liver yang based on yin and blood to serve the clinic better.The four part is the conclusion and discussion of this dissertation.Through the study of documental compiling and the analysis, we have realized the source and the connotation and extension of the theory that function of liver yang based on yin and blood, obtained several treatments which is accorded with the characteristics of the theory that function of liver yang based on yin and blood, that is Yang yin ti Rou gan, nourishing blood and reinforcing body of the liver, relieving the depressed liver, Zi yin Qian yang, clearing liver for purging pathogenic fire, calming and suppressing the yang function of liver. Through analyzing the compatible regularity of past dynasties famous complex prescription, obtained the herb-pairs which accord with the characteristics of the theory that function of liver yang based on yin and blood. Through analyzing the medical records, we confirmed the clinical value further.The vital principle of studying the theory of TCM is totally analyzing the historical background and practical significance of different doctrines by tracing to the source of the theory. The theory of TCM should be dissertated roundly according to its clinical application, so the theory of TCM can be serve in clinic better.
