Abstract


Today, industrial agglomeration has become the common developing mode of high-tech industry. China government planed and built a quantity of high-tech industrial parks from 1990s’. And now, the high-tech industry of China has got great achievement. But up to now, the theory of high-tech industrial growth promoted by agglomeration is unsatisfied, and lacking of dividing high-tech industrial growth phrases makes the result of research is more indistinct. So in practice there is few theory basis of making industrial agglomeration policy. Some high-tech industrial parks have some blindness in construction and management. Now it becomes the important problem to discover the growth principles of high-tech in the way of agglomeration in academic field.The paper bases the theory of high-tech industrial growth, use theory of "scale economy", "knowledge spillover"and "transaction cosf" to discover the growth mechanism of high-tech industrial agglomeration from three different views respectively. Except the introduction of chapter1, the summary and prospect of chapter7, the paper is divided into five chapters:chapter2 is mainly to prepare the theory basis for the following three chapters, which include the key problems and the main content of the dissertation. Chapter6 is the empirical analysis of high-tech industrial growth about Wuhan·China Optical Valley. Chapter 3 discovers the enlarge mechanism of high-tech industrial agglomeration from the view of scale of economy; chapter 4 discovers the performance promotion mechanism of high-tech industrial agglomeration; chapter 5 discovers the organizational optimization mechanism of high-tech industrial. The three chapters are arranged according to the three phrases of high-tech industrial growth. They represent the initial stage, middle stage and later stage respectively.The research result shows that agglomeration can promote the growth of high-tech industry. The scale economy of agglomeration facilitates the enlargement of industrial scale; bring out the increase of industrial gross value, profit and sale revenue. It is the high-tech industrial growth in quantity. The knowledge spillover of agglomeration produce the effect of technological disperse, technological competition and technological application, technological disperse promotes the innovational performance; the effect of technological competition promotes the upgrade of industrial structure; the effect of technological application promotes the improvement of innovational capability. It is the high-tech industrial growth in quality. The agglomeration of high-tech industry makes the transaction cost lower, so as to produce the division of labor, which make the optimization of the high-tech industrial organization. The paper constructs the theoretical analysis frame of agglomeration growth of high-tech industry based in the innovation of high-tech growth theory.
