Abstract

Supported liquid membrane separation technique combines the features of solvent extraction and solid membrane separation method, the technology to achieve the extraction and back-extraction \easy operation. However, the relatively short lifetime due to the instability of the supported liquid membrane supported liquid membrane separation technology has yet to achieve industrial application. In view of the supported liquid membrane mass transfer process and its instability mechanism is still not mature enough, the phenol and divalent copper ions in the supported liquid membrane mass transfer process for the study, carried out around these two problems following aspects: 1, the use of liquid - liquid equilibrium still determined by the partition coefficient of phenol between the aqueous and organic phase (tri-n-butyl phosphate (TBP) / kerosene solution), and consider TBP and water complexation and role of kerosene physical extraction including the allocation coefficient computing model. Support porous polypropylene film Celgard 2500 membrane solvent, kerosene, The tributyl phosphate film liquid carrier phenol in the plate-type supported liquid membrane mass transfer process, and established based on the two-film theory of mass transfer power learning model. 2, the determination of the partition coefficient of the divalent copper ions between the aqueous and organic phase (Lix984N / kerosene), of Cu2 in the plate-type supported liquid membrane mass transfer process, and using the two-film theory to describe the copper ions in the flat support the liquid film mass transfer process. The supported liquid membrane stars mass transfer coefficient the Km changes with time described as the mass transfer process, the film liquid carrier concentration declining. 3, the use of electrochemical impedance spectroscopy to study the loss behavior of the supported liquid membrane in the liquid film mass transfer process, the use of equivalent circuit analysis of the electrochemical impedance spectroscopy, while part of the loss from the microscopic study the electrochemical characteristics of the supported liquid membrane . Transmission phenol and Cu2 system supported liquid membrane membrane liquid loss study to examine the impact of the loss of membrane liquid and supported liquid membrane instability. The results showed that: Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy to real-time, accurately monitor the loss of state supported liquid membrane casting solution does not affect the original mass transfer process: shear-induced emulsion, is conducive to the main support of the loss of the liquid film emulsion conditions, such as the carrier concentration increases, the stirring speed increases, an aqueous solution of a low salt concentration and membrane phase high HLB values ??are accelerated to promote the loss of liquid film, the the supported liquid becomes unstable; in actual operation, in particular in the operation time compared to long separation process should be more mechanisms together lead to the instability of the supported liquid membrane. Based on the above, combined with the determination and characterization of the physical properties of the system data, in-depth discussion of the supported liquid membrane instability mechanism. The results showed that: the external force caused by the emulsion should be the main reason for the loss of the supported liquid membrane solution, in the case of the presence of the applied energy, the liquid film will be in the form of emulsified droplets to water wastage, while the wastage of space by the same hole or linked to the membrane pore in the membrane liquid supplement, the oil-water interface from the loss of another - the interface into the membrane pores, causing the overall loss of the supported liquid membrane. In summary, the supported liquid membrane is an efficient separation method, but the loss of the membrane liquid carrier causes the stars rapid mass transfer coefficient becomes small; electrochemical impedance spectroscopy is a real-time, accurate monitoring of the supporting liquid film membrane liquid loss state Novel method; leading to the main mechanism of supported liquid membrane instability caused by additional energy emulsification mechanism, but other mechanisms, such as dissolution, will also support membrane pore water gradually wetting liquid membrane membrane liquid loss to accelerate.
