Abstract

Target spacecraft in the second phase of national manned astronautical engineering, consists of resource cabin and experimental cabin. The resource cabin is notight, whose structure is relatively complex. For all the design assignment of the cabin shell and the main carrier module of propulsion subsystem, ensuring its structure security and reliability is the most important one. This paper deals with the problem that vertical response of the partial structure of cabin shell and main carrier module is excessive, the structure design of the resource cabin is improved via finite element method(FEM), the new structure of resource cabin is validated with environmental vibration test. The design requirement is achieved finally. The main work and achievements are summarized as follows:The original structural design of the resource cabin is described in detail, and it is validated with the first environmental vibration test, it is found that the response of the partial structure of cabin shell and main carrier module is excessive, so it can’t meet the environmental vibration test design requirement.A finite element model for the main structure of resource cabin, including cabin shell and main carrier module of propulsion subsystem, is established by MSC.Patran/Nastran software. To solve the problem of the excessive vertical response in the prior vibration test, according to the engineering characteristic and the restriction, the improving schemes of cabin shell and main carrier module of propulsion subsystem are proposed, which are analyzed by FEM with Frequency Response Analysis Method respectively, The final scheme is confirmed in light of the analysis results of FEM.According to the improved structural design scheme of resource cabin achieved by FEM, the resource cabin shell and main carrier module are reconstructed, and the validated environmental vibration tests are carried out again. It is shown that the first natural frequency is well agreement with the FEM simulation results. The first natural frequency of the main carrier module increases, while its dynamic responses decrease. It provides the basis for appraisal test of the whole spacecraft. In conclusion,an improved design scheme on the main structure of resource cabin is derived with FEM, which is validated by vibration tests. The suitable design scheme is finally obtained. The work in this thesis can speed up the development schedule of the rendezvous and docking target spacecraft. The method and conclusions would be available for the design of other spacecraft.
