The employees’ employability is not only an important further-development of career theory but an important supplement to the human resource management theory. This study aims to develop the employees’ employability theory under Chinese cultural background and provide the theoretical support and practical guidance for the human resource management practice in china.At first, this dissertation reviews the relative employability theory including the concept, measurement and the relationship with the other variables and puts forward the framework of this study combining the theory of career success. And then, we construct and test the employees’ employability in Chinese culture background. Afterwards, based on this scale, we begin to study the relationship between the employees’ employability, subject career success (career satisfaction)and object career success (income). The mediate effect between the employees’ employability and subject career success is also discussed.Through analyzing the obtained 836 effective questionnaires by the method of the factor analysis, hierarchical regress analysis, structural equation modeling technology and so on, we find that the construct of Chinese enterprise’s employees’ employability consists of five factors:occupational expertise, self-initiating flexibility, passive flexibility, corporate sense, balance. At the same time, the employees’ employability and the five factors of the employees’ employability all impact subject career success. The perceived self-efficacy partially mediates the relationship between the five factors of employees’ employability and subject career success. Moreover, the employees’ employability positively impacts object career success variable income and subject career success are partial mediators in this relationship. Based on the date from male and female, we do hierarchical regression analysis and find that male’s employability impacts object career success(income) but female’s employees’ employability does not.
