Abstract

The the Ti2448 (Ti-24Nb-4Zr-7.6Sn) is domestic developed a novel β-type titanium alloy, is the third generation of titanium, having a high strength, high toughness, high fatigue strength, while having a good corrosion resistance and biological properties, especially the alloy has a lower modulus of elasticity (forging of 33 GPa, the casting 42 GPa), better biomechanical compatibility has good application prospects in the field of prosthodontics. The purpose of this project is to study the application Ti2448 feasibility of production of metal ceramic coping; evaluation of the performance of its combination with commonly used titanium porcelain; surface processing and application of commonly used titanium surface treatment methods discussed to improve the alloy and porcelain combination intensity of surface treatment technology; provide experimental evidence for this alloy in the production of oral PFM. Method: 1. Conventional lost wax embedding casting Prepared Ti2448 sample test its thermal expansion coefficient, using a combination of three-point bending strength test method to test Ti2448 and D'ancient Amd.1 2005 (E) provisions in accordance with IS0 9693 (1999) Sa porcelain powder porcelain bond strength. Using 50μm, 120μm, 250μm granularity Al 2 O 3 sandblasting process Ti2448 surface, measuring the surface roughness of the group of different granularity sandblasting, the surface energy and the three point bending strength combination. 3 using 10% HF, 50% NaOH solution treated the Ti2448 surface, measuring the surface roughness of the different chemical treatment groups, the surface energy and the bonding strength in three-point bending. 4 using 700 ° C, 750 ° C and 800 ℃ Ti2448 pre-oxidation treatment, measuring the roughness of the surface of the group of different pre-oxidation treatment, the surface energy and binding strength in three-point bending. Results: 1. Ti2448 of the thermal expansion coefficient of 9.51 × 10 -6 · K -1 Degussa porcelain powder thermal expansion coefficient of 8.7 × 10 -6 · K -1 , the difference between the two is 0.81 × 10 -6 · K -1 porcelain in the compressive stress state, a good match. Ti2448 porcelain bond strength of 31.51 MPa, which is higher than IS0 9693 (1999) Amd.1 2005 (E) standard required by the basic value (25 MPa). In certain blasting pressure as sandblasting granularity increase Ti2448 Increase in the surface roughness, the surface energy increases first and then decreased. 0.2MPa pressure the 120μm granularity Al 2 O 3 sandblasted a Ti2448 of porcelain bond strength (31.51 MPa) was significantly better than 50 μm, the 250μm granularity Al 2 O 3 treatment group. 3 10% HF treatment significantly increased the Ti2448 surface roughness, but lowering a Ti2448 of the surface energy. 50% NaOH alkali treatment, a significant increase in the Ti2448 surface energy. Three-point bending bond strength test showed that the alkaline treatment (38.86 ± 2.51 MPa) can effectively improve a Ti2448 of porcelain bond strength. Pre-oxidation treatment at different temperatures under vacuum the Ti2448 surface roughness lower surface energy increased 750 ℃ ??groups are the most obvious improvement of surface wettability Ti2448. Three-point bending bond strength test showed that, in a vacuum at 750 ℃ ??Ti2448 pre-oxidation treatment, porcelain bond strength up to 39.94 ± 1.63 MPa, a significant improvement compared with the control. Conclusions: 1. Ti2448 Degussa ceramic powder shows a good thermal expansion coefficient matching relationship. The intensity of the metal-porcelain bond between the the Ti2448 with Degussa porcelain powder than IS0 9693 (1999) Amd.1 2005 (E) standard specifies the basic value (25 MPa). 2. 0.2MPa 120μm Al2O3 sandblasting the Ti2448 of gold porcelain bond strength is better than 120μm, 250μm the treatment group and the Cp-Ti group, and reached clinical use. 3. 0.2MPa, 120μmAl2O3 sandblasted processing, 50% NaOH alkali treatment can effectively improve the Ti2448 of porcelain bond strength. . 0.2MPa, 120μmAl2O3 sandblasting vacuum conditions of 750 ℃ ??Ti2448 the preoxidized get better porcelain bond force.
