Abstract

Objective : To observe the learning and memory ability of rehabilitation training on hippocampal infarction in rats , the impact of the hippocampus neurons and the expression of SDF-1α positive cells : 54 healthy SD rats ( male ) weighing 200- 250g . Completely randomly divided into 3 groups : sham operation group , model group , rehabilitation training group . Is divided into three groups of training for three days , seven days of training , training for 14 days at three time points , six each for each time point . Using Photochemical Preparation of hippocampal infarction model . Successful model given after Morris water maze training , training three times a day , early in the evening time . Detected at various time points following indicators : (1 ) Y maze learning and memory ability ; ( 2 ) HE staining hippocampus neurons change ; ( 3 ) application of immunohistochemistry assay rat hippocampus SDF-1α positive cells situation. Results: ( 1) rats in each group Y-maze test results : Compared with the sham group , model group decreased ability of learning and memory in rats , a statistically significant difference ( P lt; 0.05 ) ; compared with the model group , at each time point rehabilitation group learning and memory capacity has been restored, and the difference was statistically significant ( P lt; 0.05 ) . (2) HE staining : sham group hippocampus neurons arranged in neat rows , cell morphology integrity . Reduce the number of neurons in the model group , disorganized , more cell destruction , nuclear condensation , cytoplasmic staining deep . Rehabilitation group compared with model group , the increase in the number of neuronal survival , morphology and structure of the majority of the neurons is normal . ( 3 ) groups of rat hippocampus SDF-1α - positive cells express the results show : a small amount of SDF-1α positive cells in the brain tissue of the sham group . Compared with the sham group , positive cells in the ischemic area of the model group at each time point SDF-1α expression , and the difference was statistically significant ( P lt; 0.05 ) . Compared with the model group , the increased expression of SDF-1α - positive cells at each time point rehabilitation group , the difference was statistically significant ( P lt; 0.05 ) . Conclusions : ( 1) rehabilitation can promote recovery of the ability of learning and memory ; hippocampal infarction (2) reduce the number of neurons in rats , disorganized, and more serious damage to neurons . After rehabilitation training , neuron survival increase in the number of normal , most of the structure and morphology of neurons ; (3) rehabilitation training can promote cerebral ischemia SDF-1α positive cells , which may be rehabilitation for cerebral ischemia . one of the mechanisms of rats on learning and memory ability .
